Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the Tella Tarot mobile application and related support pages.
1. Accepting these terms
By using Tella, you agree to these Terms of Use and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Eligibility
Tella is not directed to children under 16. If you are below the age at which you can agree to these terms in your country, you may use the app only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
3. What Tella provides
Tella lets you select or photograph tarot cards, enter an optional question, receive an AI-generated interpretation, ask follow-up questions, and save readings locally on your device. Features may change as we improve the app.
4. Tarot and AI limitations
- Tarot interpretations are subjective and provided for entertainment and reflection.
- AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, inconsistent, or unsuitable for your circumstances.
- Tella does not predict events with certainty and does not guarantee any result or outcome.
- You remain responsible for your choices, actions, and decisions.
- For professional or urgent concerns, contact an appropriately qualified professional or local emergency service.
5. Your account
An account is optional. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in information secure and for activity under the account. Provide accurate information and notify us at hello@tellatarot.com if you believe someone has accessed it without permission.
6. Your content and acceptable use
You retain your rights in questions, images, and other content you submit. You give Tella and its service providers the limited permission needed to process that content solely to operate, secure, and support the requested feature.
You must not:
- submit content you do not have the right to use;
- include another person's confidential or sensitive information without permission;
- use the service unlawfully, deceptively, or to harm another person;
- attempt to bypass security, usage safeguards, or app-integrity checks;
- reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, scrape, or probe the service except where applicable law expressly permits it; or
- use automated systems to send abusive or excessive requests.
7. Saved readings and backups
Saved readings are currently stored locally on your device and are not a guaranteed backup service. They may be lost if you delete the app, clear app data, delete your account, lose or replace your device, or if local data becomes unavailable. Keep your own copy of anything important.
8. Intellectual property
Tella, its interface, branding, original artwork, text, and software are owned by or licensed to Tella Tarot and are protected by applicable law. These terms give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the app; they do not transfer ownership of the app or its assets.
9. Availability and changes
We may maintain, update, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Internet access and compatible device software may be required.
10. Account suspension and deletion
We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or comply with law, including for serious or repeated misuse. You may delete your account at any time in the app or through the account-deletion page. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
11. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, Tella is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that it will meet every expectation, be continuously available, or produce accurate results. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights.
12. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, fraud, or any liability that cannot legally be limited. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, Tella Tarot is not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses, loss of data, or decisions made in reliance on tarot or AI-generated content.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available under the law of their country of residence. Courts are determined by applicable law.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the app, our practices, or legal requirements change. We will publish the updated version here and change the effective date. Material changes will receive additional notice where reasonably possible.
15. Contact
